Michigan is ranked in the top ten states for human trafficking. According to the State of Michigan, human trafficking is commonly regarded as the second largest criminal enterprise and affects every community in Michigan across age, gender, ethnicity and socio-economic backgrounds. Of the human trafficking cases reported this year, children make up 23% of those victims. The FBIDCAAA is committed to working with local agencies and the FBI to do our part to educate and bring awareness to this phenomenon.
